anyone remember last year when the sox would be down by 3 in the 7th then come back and win. What happened to those the red sox are like 1-31 when trailing in the 7th. Does anyone know what has happened

These Sox are almost exactly like the 2002 version of the Red Sox. Not a good thing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: This team doesn't have the DESIRE to win.

I see that too they need sometihing to spark the desire (like winning tonight against Baltimore or beating the Yankees maybe).

no, u cant spark desire to win by beating the orioles and failing against the yankees. if they dont beat the yankees 2/3 games this season and dont realize they can do it this year...im gunna give up along with them, because so far ive had it.

I can't give p on a team that's in first in the WIld Card there is no reason to give up if we can still make a playoff spot.

I don't think the Sox are not a comeback team anymore, instead they are the opposite, they let other teams come back. They get chances to open the flood- gates w/ bases loaded or two men on, etc. and they get nothing (see game 1 vs. Yanks last nite). They get solid leads, and then start making awful errors (mental and physical as Millar displayed in that same Yanks game). Then we bring in the bullpen which might be as bad as last year (when Williamson is hurt anyway). Foulke is doing so bad I can't think of a word to describe it. Embree has been ineffective since April. Arroyo has pitched many a fine game, but every time, he ends up getting a no decision 'cuz the pen blows it. What the Sox need to do is start holding on to their leads, and then they won't have to worry about coming back.
