See 35 years ago it made sense. Everyone had crappy little black and white 21 inch console antenna TVs. Nowadays we have 64 inch widescreen wall mounted plasma HD TVs. Turn that sucker off? helllllz no! It basically heats my apartment in the winter.

Besides, how else would I get my news? Newspapers are a waste of trees and cutting them down will further lead to global warming. Though I guess I could use the internet and sites like Foxnews.com and YouTube to get REAL unfiltered information.

TVs are also a very affordable babysitter for the young children of single parents. TVs are good.

Anyone seen the ad for the new iPhone? That thing's gonna kick ass.
