Houston wanted more money, he will become a free agent.
Van Poppel will test the market because of playing time.
Yan, Signed
Jones, Signed
Good, the two guys I wanted, even if I did overpay.
Oh Jesus. I did overpay, by 2x or 3x what I wanted. ACL, did you read the note at the bottom of my extensions post? That was TOTAL VALUE, NOT per year. Now I have two huge contracts I'm stuck with. Thanks a lot.Quote:

im backing Gertie up on this one. is it that hard for you to divide 9 million by 3?
is it that hard to follow directions?
Was the bolded TOTAL VALUE there since the post was made, or was that editted in? If it was there to begin with, there is no way that Gertie can be held accountable, and the players salaries should be changed to reflect his wishes. No one would pay Jones 9 mil/year.
I am not goin to take sides but it said it many threads, a yearly salary.....soooooo
or you could have put that note at least at the begining, and not at the end after I had put the offers in.
I edited the post to put that in right after I posted it. Literally thirty seconds.
Whatever, I can deal with it. I didn't see the post saying to put it in per year, and I thought that by putting a note at the bottom it would make sense. I'll eat the contracts if I need to (even though I'd obviously rather not).
I am Gertie's witness. That note was there the whole time. No way he should get shafted for this.
I'm pretty sure I saw that note there the whole time too.
Thats not the point, you put the note at the top of the message before the offers. I can't go back and change them once they're in, your mistake, not mine. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.
Hey, thanks for trying. Anyone want a shitty $9 million salary?
