We also have to replace E-Rod. 4 ERA or no, lucky or no, he had a lot of wins for us the last few years.

Hmmm maybe Bloom is after Kevin Gausman ? 4 years 80 with escalating bonuses into mid 90s .Then sign Correa and make some moves .5 years takes Kevin to age 36 season not horrible so it may take 5 or 6 years ? If so he could top out say 120 to 136 ? He’s not an Ace but he’s filthy.Talking through this we can get our guy for 140 over 7 and spread it out ? I really want this guy .
Annnnnd hot stove starts I’m here .
I think at least Seabold and Winckowski take some turns in the rotation, even if they don't break camp in March. Hopefully, a younger guy like Bello has a great first half and makes surprise starts in Boston, as well. Though it's just as likely that all three begin in the MLB bullpen and see steady usage at some point as part of some middle-innings plan.
I'd be shocked if any free agent pitcher the Sox sign also costs a QO.
Is foltentiwisz still out there?
He reminds me of pivetta, in that he has issues with his mechanics that need sorting.
Hang’em Chaim seems to be good at figuring out how to get pitchers fixed.
Marcels projects free agent righthander Mike Foltynewicz with a 2022 ERA of 4.96 in 127 innings while Steamer projects Foltynewicz with a 2022 ERA of 5.15 in 126 innings:
