He only looks at results. 3 balls that the outfielders bring back over the fence >>> 3 dribblers that travel 90 feet combined.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

When Nunez gets a hit, the SOX are 45-0.

Just kidding. I have no idea what their record is when Nunez gets a hit. But I bet it's a winning record.

The idea behind the breaking pitch has always been the same....make it look enticing enough to swing but make it finish outside the strike zone. Does not matter which pitcher you want to talk about other than Greg Maddox, the idea IS NOT to throw it for a called strike. As a result if the hitters are not swinging, the pitcher can look pretty foolish. Then again, if the hitter swings at that crap, we see lots of Bugs Bunny swing and miss, weak shit dribbling around the infield and blops.

Well said. That's the main reason there so few good hitters and a ton of average or less hitters.

To get 6 innings would be a plus. It helps to have a nice decent lead.

Between the Orioles and the Blue Jays, the birds of North America are not getting much respect. John Audobon would be pissed.

Looks like his day is done. I would give him the six innings. I think he could go one more possibly two. He looked really good in the fifth.
