Well we've given ourselves a chance to get back into the game at least.

If history tells us anything, the path to redeption for any bad baseball team is marked with a deep rotation of durable starters, a world class defense in both infield and outfield, a lineup that can generate runs in more than one way, a bullpen that won't steal defeat from the jaws of victory, and a top end catcher to hold the whole package together. These are the conditions by which victory is achieved, anything that does not accomplish these objectives is a waste of resources.
Salty hit a grand slam please.
That thumb is really a problem for Pedey. I was hoping it would not turn out to be one of those things he would have to deal with for the remainder of his career. But it does not appear to take much to get that thing throbbing again and this is exactly how Pedey was hitting the last time it was hurting.
Salty needs to get a hit here.

Why even swing there?

Great swing Salty.
Dude's completely wild. Why is Salty swinging?
We miss you Mike.
Fuck I hate Salty so much.
"It happens to everybody, man. He's had 60 at-bats. A couple of years ago, I had 60 at-bats, and I was hitting .170, and everyone was ready to kill me, too. And what happened? Laser show. So, relax."
Salty should have taken that pitch and waited.
