I won't be on tomorrow night, I have a game, that's right Thumper has a game. A rehab tryout to see if my ankle (and arm now) are good enough to get me back into the game (ho ho Thumper Triple-A Lulz). No, Double-A now for an independent league here in New Orleans. So anyway, the BoneyTek, Beckett Blop shit aside, here's the info for the next game.Scouting Report:
Rangers: The Red Sox will get a firsthand look at what they gave up when they sent Mendoza to the Rangers on July 30, 2006. Mendoza was signed by Boston as a free agent out of Mexico on June 12, 2000. He lost his first start of the season to the Blue Jays on Saturday, when he allowed four runs in five innings. Three of the runs were unearned.
Red Sox: The Red Sox have won all four of Matsuzaka's starts. However, he is the first to admit that he doesn't deserve the credit for his last win, which came over five shaky innings against the Yankees. Matsuzaka threw 116 pitches, walked six and struck out two. He allowed five hits and four runs. Matsuzaka pitched just once against the Rangers last season, getting the win despite giving up seven hits and five runs over five innings. In that one, Matsuzaka pitched through an extreme case of the flu, which made the performance a heroic one in the eyes of manager Terry Francona and his teammates.
