Dave Matthews Band- Funny the way it is

For all the grief they get, they have some pretty thought-inducing songs.
    We miss you Mike.

Yes, those thoughts being "Oh God, why did I start listening to this", "Make it stop, please make it stop", and "Well, at least it isn't Nickelback".

    - From the 2004 ALCS Game 4 Gamethread. A reminder that no game is over until the final out is recorded, and things will always get better. Misspellings unchanged as a reminder that Yankees fans are just terrible.

I kinda liked that song with the guy going around giving people hugs in the video. Just a little bit.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

Lol. I can listen to about 30 seconds of that mind numbing drivel.

I t has a similar effect as Rap. I turn it off.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

Left last night, got here 25 hours later. 2 year old didn't want to sleep in the car, but it worked out well enough.

You're a brave person to tackle that drive with 2 youngsters, especially without stopping overnight.

    Glad you made all right.

I'm travelling as well. My wife and I leave Tuesday for a Caribbean cruise, arriving back on March 8. While we're in Florida we're going to a spring training game, Mets & Marlins. Also an NHL game. I'll miss this place when we're gone.

There is a pretty cool RedSox Sports Bar in Deerfield Beach if you get the chance to visit.

It was loooong, but less stressful and 2 grand cheaper than flying.
