Netflix Original series “Behind Her Eyes”. Watched it. British show starring Eve Hewson, who is Bono’s daughter.

Only 6 episodes. Not worth it. (SPOILER ALERT!)

Talking about bad endings, in the fifth episode it changed genres on me. It changed genres. It was a psychological thriller that suddenly became a sci fi show. I mean, WTF? That would be like if you were watching, say, The Sopranos, a drama about a mafia family, and with one episode to go, suddenly, out of nowhere, the Bada Bing was invaded by little green humanoids from outer space...

Anyone else watching "This Is A Robbery" on Netflix about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist in 1990?

I got 3 minutes into it before my son said “don’t watch this without me.” Still just 3 minutes in.

    Ginny & Georgia (Netflix)

Kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. It's really cringy modern day high school girl drama, most of which I still relate to. Interesting layers of stories and plots. Didn't seem like something I would be into but I was bored last week while I was on break and sick in bed

    Just finished "Them."

    Wild but very good.

Weird mix of genres, but I won't do a spoiler on you.

Liked it a lot. Never heard of the robbery before.

That museum looks gorgeous. Was it the dumb mafia thugs, a russian oligarch with cash, the IRA?

It's a semi good documentary, but it's worth a watch.
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
    In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
    In our yellow submarine

    "The Serpent" on netflix.

The twisting, real-life story of Charles Sobhraj, a murderer, thief and seductive master of disguise, who was a hidden darkness in the mid-70's on Asia's hippie trail

Super interesting. Makes me wish I could travel back and hang out on the hippie trail. And hopefully not meet up with this freak.

Worth the watch. Not the best, but worth it.

I never heard of that museum until the day after it happened when it was the front page story in the Boston Globe...

Half a mile away? And where were you early on the morning of March 18, 1990?

I didn't live there until 96. If I was, I would have been with the kids piggybacking down the street.

    I’ll make a prediction.

“This Is A Robbery” is going to generate a lot of popularity for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. And, if they’re not already open, when they do they are going to see a surge in customers, at whatever capacity they’re at. And it will be the first time ever people went to a museum not to see what’s on display, but rather to see what’s not on display...

    Related:

I watched "made You Look," last night on NETFLIX. It was about a big art fraud case. Interesting but dragged on a bit.

You're avoiding the question. That's what guilty people do..
