Thread: What Really Grinds My Gears

  1. #5551
These fires in OR, WA, & CA are so oppressive! You can't escape the smoke for even a minute!

    Just unbelievable!

The nation is losing its mind! One more crazy caught lighting fires, and we may see this get really ugly!

Not saying thats how it all started, but now you have these literal insane people jumping in on the fun, and lighting their own fires. When exactly did so many embrace chaos?

NOT being political! We simply CAN NOT BREATHE out here! Add really bad allergies & terrible apnea, and I'm seriously thinking about doing my OR distance learning from Cape Cod.

Speaking of grinding my gears.... This distance learning horseshit is horseshit ! LOL :0

It is bizarre being the old fuck teaching the young guns how to teach on Zoom effectively.... NEVER could have seen this coming!

I guess you can teach old dogs new tricks??

Thank god I watched a lot of Blues Clues with my kids when they were young? Who knew i could act?

on the other hand.... these 15 hr days are getting to me!

My wife found me making coffee at 2:00 a.m. Fri a.m.

She was trying to convince me that I never came to be bed. After arguing with her for a couple of groggy minutes, sayung I had just gotten out of bed... & she knew this because my folded clothes were still on my side if the bed, we realized that I fell asleep on the couch working, and dreamt that I had just gotten out of bed.

The coffee was good, so I went back to work.

I woke up at 4a.m. with my neck & back in a MAJOR TWIST!

More gear grinding! MS is so much fun... My neck & back will be out for weeks.

Jesus Mary! I fucking hate MS!! It honestly gets on my nerves! Pun intended and spot on... an mri.

    Still.... LIFE IS GOOD

Sports Reference's Play Index features are very useful tools to search sports stats, and they're putting them all behind a paywall (the baseball site's has been behind one for a while). They take long pains to justify the decision, then announce it will be $96 per year for a single sport and $196 for all access. lolz, you must be joking.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

Getting an email telling you to pick up some technology items that will be needed once schools reopen. The person states that she will be in her office every day from 8:30 - 3:30. I go to pick up my items at 2:00 yesterday.

Guess who's not in her office. Wasted trip.

What grinds my gears? I'll tell you. The latest flock of Medicare Advantage commercials currently flooding the airwaves are among the most deceitful, deceptive ads ever to air. They are using guys like Joe Namath to shill , making it seem that you are entitled to many extra benefits , " at no additional cost " or " absolutely free" . Many gullible seniors can be fooled into spending more by falling for this lie.
