"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
The game thread
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
Making it through all fall and winter without getting sick, only to get sick the last week of May.
This cold is kicking my butt.

My parents made me take that stuff a couple of times. Not sure how it turned out, but I seemed to like Jagermeister more than most of my friends.
I do remember my grandma thinking Vicks Vapor rub cured all. Nothing like being sick and then covered in a slime that stank like a Velamint that had been in a pocket of senior citizen for months.
