That injury that happened to Damar Hamlin tonight is extremely concerning. I've never seen anything like that. Hope that dude is okay.

That was a brutal hit to what looked like the Sternum.

Hopefully, just the wind knocked out of him.

Sounds much worse than that.He was given CPR on the field, rushed to hospital and they had to suspend game.

Oh! I just saw the play and no aftermath.

I guess he's still in critical condition.

It’s called commotio cortis. It’s a direct hit to the heart at just the wrong time that sends you into cardiac arrest. He’s currently intubated and sedated. Sounds like they got his heart restarted. Big question is how much brain damage he may have from being in arrest for as long as he was. Very concerning for the kid indeed

Very concerning. Definitely hope the dude is alright.

Obviously not the top priority, but I wonder what NFL does with this game having a big impact on seeding/playoffs.

If the hit stopped his heart, would he have been able to stand up after the hit?

I actually asked this of a couple friends of mine in the field. They say you’ve got enough oxygen for a few seconds of movement and then you’ll collapse

    So…

That was one of the worst officiated games I’d seen in a long time
    Hal sucks

    Bad, but I've seen worse.

    Who you got?

I'm going with the Chefs in a close one, with Mahomes and Kelce having big games (of course).

I'm rooting for the NFC (Philly,) but think this game is a toss-up.

    If I had to guess:

    31 KC
    30 PHI

Mahomes at 27 now has 2 rings (2 Super Bowl MVPs), two NFL MVPs, 3 all pro selections, 5 pro bowl appearances and multiple other accolades and records, such as having the highest passer rating in NFL history in both the regular season and playoffs, and having the record for most touchdown passes in a single post-season. He is one hell of a player

Andy Reid must be one of the all-time maestros of in-game adjustments.
