The Pats' run under B & B is a remarkable thing indeed. You really aren't supposed to be able to dominate a professional sports league as long as this.

So it must be because they cheat so much. That must be the obvious conclusion to the nitwits that can not understand why that Pats win so much.
Lol.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
It also shows just how hard it is to win Superbowls, even with a dynastic team like the Pats.
Winning 4 big games in the last 15 years is remarkable, but when compared to other sports' dynasties, it's not that impressive.
They did win 3 in 4 years, which might be harder than Pittsburg's 4 in 6 or Green Bay's 5 in 7 (counting pre-Super Bowl years), but that's about the best one can expect in football with it's single game elimination format.

Except that other than spygate there is no evidence that the Pats cheated. And one of the things BB is most admired for is not spending heavily anywhere and in particular FA. No one has built a championship team and sustained it's run of success during the free agency / cap era better than the Pats. Fact.

No doubt. The NFL is built for parity, yet BB has thrived in the most restrictive major sport system in America.
I didn't mean to minimize the Patriots accomplishments. They are truly a marvel.
The whole cheating thing is more myth than anything else, but it is a contributing reason many fans hate the Pats. Ultimately, it's the winning that gets fans angry. Had the Pats cheated and continually lost, nobody would care.

Pretty cool article on the Pats' Martellus Bennett. He seems to be quite the character, in a good way.
