    NFL Anti-Fantasy

Using this thread as a springboard to gauge possible interest for an NFL anti-fantasy league similar to the one we had for baseball last year. I'm hoping that the influx of new posters on the board will allow us to have more teams and make this a more worthwhile exercise. With the NFL season less than a week away, I think this would be a great way to spark some more discussion.

I think the teams should be drafted as follows:

    QB
    RB1
    RB2
    FB
    WR1
    WR2
    WR3
    WR4
    TE1
    TE2
    OL
    DE1
    DE2
DT1/2 (depending on if you want to play a 3-4 or 4-3)
    ILB1/2
    OLB1
    OLB2
    CB1
    CB2
    FS
    SS
    Nickel Back
    K
    P
    KR
    PR

Open to change but I think this is a good start. When were done someone could plug these teams into Madden and we can see who would be the best.

I'd actually enjoy doing this. I think it'd be much better than the baseball one we did because there are so many more positions and so many more ways you can build a football team.

    Lets get this going ASAP.

Also, I think we should do it as if it were for this upcoming season, and not for the "next 5 years" like we did in the baseball one.

Sounds pretty good. I'd be interested. The earliest I could start doing it is Sunday though, since I'll be away for a day or two.

I agree that it should be a one season thing due to the violent nature of the sport and knowing how much can change from yr to yr.

I also think we need to draft a backup QB, that slipped my mind when I made the initial post.

Ideally, I'd like to get 15 teams in this thing

I would definitely like to take part.. about O-line question, I think O-line man are one of most important positions to fill and should be apart of the draft, but if other people don't want to draft them, then I'm fine with that too.

If you're interested, come up with a team name and I'll edit into the opening post of the thread

Don't draft a bad team and you won't have to worry about being cheated out.

On the other hand, I feel that my team was not given fair justice in the semifinals of the Baseball Redraft, so in that case, I'm going to name my team in honour of that team, to recognise one of the greatest injustices in sports history.

My team name will be: Erin Andrews Likes it Raw

    In as the BP Spillers

There's no other regular posters who would be interested in something like this? Spudboy, Coco's Disciples, ORS?
