I've never been myself, but have fun. My last final is Wednesday, and I'm playing golf Thursday before going to my brother's graduation. After a 3 day weekend, I'm either playing baseball or volunteering at the Travelers Championship everyday for a 10 day stretch or so.

I'm sure it's a good feeling to have your last final out of the way.

Red Rock Canyon isn't too far outside the city and is supposed to be worth a visit.

I looked it up. It looks pretty cool, and like you said, only about 15-20 minutes from the strip. It's something I'll look into.

Spud, we are planning a trip to the Hoover Dam. It's all my daughter has been asking about. LOL

Water skiing, OTOH, is too hard. I don't have the arm strength to pull myself up on the skis. LOL

Don't knock it until you try it. I can see how someone would be scared to do these things, but the experience is amazing.

I'm petrified of heights. Get sweaty palms seeing sky diving and the like on tv and when standing on a chair. I think I'd like scuba diving and a ride in a helicopter (maybe). Overall I'm with you.

We've loving it so far. Supposedly the summers here are nice, and the other seasons are a bit overcast most days, with very light rain, if any.
