    Go Sox -- Give Beckett some god-damn Run Supportttt!! Fuck the Indians! Let's take 3 out of 4 now.

    If Ellsbury is ON tonight and Pedroia and Gonzo are as they were last night or better we can win this one. Ellsbury's 0-4 night yesterday hurt us.

    I'm going to the Angels/Twins game tonight -- woo!! Go Angels, I guess? Santana is pitching: No-Hitter #2???!!!!

    Well, this pitcher's ERA is below 1. So, I simply meant that I figured we were going to crush him despite how well he's done in his first few starts.

    Baseball-Reference says we have Ellsbury thru 2011, 1yr/2.4m

    I thought we had him till '13, so BoSox have to re-sign at the end of this one?

    We do have control over him through 2013. It only said we have him through 2011 because we've yet to agree on an arb figure for 2012.

    This is not at all related, but I just read in the Globe that our bullpen has only given up a lead 7 times this season. That's pretty incredible.
