I'm a big fan of it. Totally bizarre, and very funny - IMHO.

Harry Dean Stanton is great, as usual.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

    I'll check it out soon
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
    In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
    In our yellow submarine

I didn't like it much, but it's been about thirty years since I saw it. Maybe I just didn't get it.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

I watched Aliens last night. I could quote the entire movie but here is just one.

"Seventeen *days*? Hey man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last seventeen hours! Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they're gonna come in here.....and they're gonna come in here AND THEY'RE GONNA GET US!"

How did you forget the most relevant and prophetic conversation from that same movie?

"Why do you wear a mask? Were you burned by acid? Or something like that?"

"Oh no. It's just, they're very comfortable. I think everyone will be wearing them in the future."

Did you see the series they did of the Army of Darkness? It came out a few years ago. I really thought it wouldn't be good, but both the wife and I liked it alot.

Bruce Campbell has to be one of my favorite actors. I love that he stayed B grade horror movie and made it his thing.

Ash vs The Evil Dead? It was on a channel (Starz) that I had up until that series aired, then my cable company took it away, undoubtedly knowing it was about to air soemthing worthwhile.

But I was a big fan of The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. I would call it sort of a steampunk western, very much like The Wild, Wild West...
