And they accuse you of being an old fuddy duddy, but they rain all over your parade when you are enthusiastic about a young prospect.

Wilkerson line not too bad - 3 to 1 win for Portland - 11 k's in 5+ - good day for him.

In Salem's win, you should look at the box score. Those first 3 prospects got off to great starts.
    Moncada
    Dubon
    Benintendi

Maybe Dombrowski knew what he was doing all along. Guerra is a reasonably well regarded prospect but maybe they knew what they had in Dubon.

whoever scouted and recommended signing these kids should get huge credit. Pretty sure it wasn't the GM, but if he gets all of the credit and all of the blame - on this forum it appears that he might- thanks Ben!

He just recently turned 18 not that that is important. He is off to a great start.

I try to pump up a little interest with respect to following these kids but I don't follow other teams' young players. As good as we think ours might look, I bet there are other organizations saying the same thing.

Rutledge is a AAA All Star. They should just leave him there.

Travis is going to force the issue of his promotion very soon, but dare I say it.... The roster is clogged.

LOL! I haven't finished thanking him for the consecutive last place finishes. I do thank him for 2013.

Vazquez with 3 more hits today. He is going to be like a can of drain. He will be de-clogging things a bit. He might make it tough on the decision makers.
