    I would like to nominate Dansby Swanson as the greatest name in the history of names. It's a crime that this guy is not a peer of the realm. Dansby Swanson, 15th Earl of whatever. It has such a ring to it. I can't believe this guy isn't wearing a monocle everywhere he goes. He and Benedict Cumberbatch should get together and enter a "Most British name ever" contest.

    OK, so with this new jersey nickname thing, how about some humorous alternate nicknames for Red Sox players past and present? They have to be fairly short ones.
