    LOL Good stuff Bell.

I like the alternate uniforms (pink, blue, etc.), but MLB is going overboard with all the 'gimmicks'.

It's time to put a stop to it and go back to traditional.

The Cardinals have a prospect named J. D. Murders.

    He should change his name.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

Especially after posting a .474 OPS in rookie ball. Maybe he should go by JD Murdered...

    - From the 2004 ALCS Game 4 Gamethread. A reminder that no game is over until the final out is recorded, and things will always get better. Misspellings unchanged as a reminder that Yankees fans are just terrible.

Might be even better if he used his middle name - Casey.

Damien Magnifico is the best name ever. He sounds like a Latino superhero. I can't even say his name without slipping into a Latino accent.

Pronouncing his last name with a Latino accent is easy.

    I'm having trouble with Damien.

With that name, he should be a starring Siempre El Domingo. Or whoever stars on that show should change their name to Damein Magnifico

Or better yet- that is the name that should have been given to Mandy Patinkin's (most clunky, awkward name ever, BTW) characheter in The Princess Bride.

"My name... is Damien Magnifico. You killed my father. Prepare to die!"
