I'm not quite in the old fart club yet and I can't say I remember what you're talking about. I think bellhorn and I can be a little more reasonable and move on with our lives than whatever it is that you two are doing. bellhorn and I disagree on some things and agree on others. bellhorn has a good feel feel for my posting style so I don't think we get into weird spats the way some other posters do. If we have, I've been completely oblivious to it.![]()
You was arguing with Moon, and Bell was all upset you two were arguing. Look I’m not saying you’re wrong about me, and Moon, and I admit is petty, and childish behavior, but you’ve had arguments with Moon too, and told me you’ve had him on ignore before, so that’s all I was saying. Like Been there, and done that.
It's never gotten to the point between me and another poster where multiple other posters were telling me to knock it off over the course of months. It just never happened. You two just can't leave each other alone at all.
For example, moon decided to call me pompous today. Was I going to respond negatively and get into a pissing match about it or just move on with my life because none of this matters?
But Good Sir Knight! You have no arms and legs!!!!
"Fans have become more entitled than anything. So they're starting to question our motives for the game, or how we approach the game. The ones that do question -- like who are you? Just shut up and watch the game tonight." --Kevin Durant on players' lack of effort in regular season games.
This attitude has always fascinated me. After 2004 ... which is almost certainly the sweetest title any fan base could have ever won in the sweetest way it could have possibly been won ... the idea of eeyore Red Sox fans who predated that just boggles my mind. I mean, I know they are out there clearly ... but it's still mind boggling.
On the other hand, reading the family feuds on here is usually more interesting than a discussion about Joe Schmedley's OAA and BTV rating.
Old school is good school.
...anyway, I think there is a bigger chance Cora gets promoted than fired.
Sox 4 Ever
FWIW Cora sounds like he's very focused on managing next year, the last year of his contract.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1
The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
Cora will be back as manager next season according to Sam Kennedy. It could have been worse, Cora could have been given an extension.
