    Curletta and Asche

Last week the Sox claimed 1b/of Joey Curletta from Seattle and acquired the contract of former Phillie and White Sox 3b/of Cody Asche.

Asche is in Portland. No idea where Curletta is assigned yet. But as he is 25 and been playing in AAA, I would imagine he’ll be in Pawtucket...

    Asche definitely.

Curletta appears to have had decent MiLB seasons (.865 OPS in AA) but has had some injury issues. Plus he’s only 25, making him younger than all the outfielders in Pawtucket...

Keep an eye on the Tigers #1 pick last year. Casey Mize. He might, might, make the Majors this year.

I almost missed this thread. Thank you for bumping this.

Not sure they really needed another CIFer, but Curletta was decent last year in AA.

Asche is roster depth, I guess?

Also, Cody Asche has blue eyes so he probably doesn't field very good during the daytime. That is my scouting roundup for the day.
