I get a kick out of people saying "partial tear".
What does that even mean? Think about it.
If you have a tear in a ligament you have ripped it some how. There is nothing "partial" about it.
If you completely tear a ligament then it is severed, or ruptured.
Whatever.
I spell Doughnut not Donut.
Never mind.
Yankees need some pitching at the deadline.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
It’s a 14 month recovery between knife and first start assuming all goes well. He will be an option for us down the stretch in 2019. He may not be any good 14 months out, but he’ll be able to pitch. He should return to being good by start of year 2020
