In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
    In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
    In our yellow submarine

Gee. I've never seen that video clip.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

Two lefties tonight--just like last night. I don't see Beeks having ERod's success, but hope our guys are hitting and that Beeks only gives up 3 or 4 runs in at least 5 innings--no mean feat in his first MLB start.

I am hoping that rain does not interfere with the game tonight.

It would be a shame to call this kid up only to burn an option if the game is postponed.

NOAA map says no problem for tonight. Well, other than the Tigers.

'Beeks'- sounds like he should be pitching for the Orioles or the Cardinals.

    That is good news.

Meanwhile the dark clouds continue to accumulate 35 miles south west of Fenway.
