Two yankees walk into a bar, one says to the other "it smells like shit in here". The other yankee says "yeah, I noticed it in the last bar we were in too".

"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

Is this the Machado Allstar game or something? That's all they talk about.
Scherzer got a funky delivery, while throwing high 90s.
Here's what I don't get about those who hate the ASG. I'm watching it right now and everyone out there is really trying. The NFL Pro Bowl and especially the NBA All-Star game are pretty much shams because nobody wants to play hard or rough. The NBA All-Star game is very much an exhibition, much like the Harlem Globetrotters with virtually no defense.
It helps that a big part of baseball is the contest between pitcher and batter.
If the AL can get 7 from Sale, it would give their BP a well-earned rest.
As pitchers, the only thing Scherzer and Price have in common is their contracts.
Harper was hoping he'd be facing his father tonight.
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
