A win that's also a reminder: even with Sale on the mound and pitching shut out ball for 7 innings, it can be a close game if the other pitcher is effective. The Sox have averaged over 7 runs per game in these 9 games, but also scored just 3 in one game (3-0) and 4 in two others (4-3 and 4-2). 6 of the 9 games were on the road. He'll get 10 days rest, and essentially miss 2 starts, and shouldn't hurt the Sox going forward.
Now were starting to think.
Except for the 2 innings in the all star game. I would be very much OK if he had a sick grandmother in DR that he had to visit instead of going to DC.....

Per @NESN: Wednesday’s #RedSox game had an 8.7 household rating in the Boston DMA. That's second only to the April 10 Yankees game that did a 9.1.
