I think this winning streak has spoiled me. I now expect a win at game time every day/night & I'm going to be majorly disappointed if they <gasp> lose.

Guriel choked. He wanted to make up for what happened last night and botched the throw.

Eck thinks The Shortstop had second thoughts and blew the throw. Baseball player....second thoughts???? There's your problem right there.

What a weekend of baseball. Sox on fire, and the Yankees in Cleveland. The one time a year I clap along to the beat of that drum they have in Cleveland

The worst thing a fielder can do is think about his throw.

Poor Martin. I wonder how many games he has played this year. They have him playing all over the place because most of their broken down old player corp just does not play that often. Not catching is considered a night off for Martin.

Showing clips from the 1999 All-Star game with Ted Williams. I was there. It was my defining moment as a Red Sox fan, and I'll unabashedly admit that I cried like a little girl when Williams came on the field.
