    8/14 Sox @ Phillies

    Porcello vs Pivetta

The surname Porcello derives from the Italian word "porco," meaning "hog; " as such, it may have evolved from a nickname for someone "pig-like" in some manner, or perhaps as an occupational name for someone who worked with pigs.

I hope that you can keep dry ( don't know the forecast ) and that you have a wicked pissah time.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

This is interesting in that we have already given Porcello the nick name of Big Dick.

Hog is a synonym of penis as is dick.

    It all fits.

This game could start late. Probably around 9 p.m. Could see some rain around 7.
