    9/07 vs Houston

    G. Cole 13-5 2.86 vs D. Price 14-6 3.60

Cole has some awesome stats this year, but he's RH. SOX have done very well vs RH's so far this year.

One day I want to live in Houston. Of course, I'll still root for the Red Sox. Win. Dance. Repeat. x4

    Betts RF
    Beni LF
    JD Martinez DH
    Bogey SS
    Moreland 1B
    Kinsler 2B
    Nunez 3B
    Leon C
    JBJ CF

If this series is a precursor to the playoffs, the absence of Devers (against a righty starter) is suggestive--assuming he is healthy, of course. 4 lefty bats in this lineup, which just might be our best defensive lineup while retaining an ability to score runs.

I'm wondering what their commentary about the Sox will be. I'll be fixin' ta keep y'all posted.

Great first out and teamwork between Mookie and Kinsler. An in-betweener that did not lead to a collision and did lead to a catch.

My impression of downtown Houston in the summertime is that very few people use the sidewalks. Kind of like Montreal in the dead of winter.

Didn't someone recently ask how long it has been since Mookie got a hit in the first inning? :-)
It's a mere moment in a man's life between the All-Star game and the Old Timer's game.

My goodness Betts was quick: 1st to 3d on a hard hit single to left against a pretty good arm (Reddick).

64-11 when the SOX score the 1st run of the game. Which means that they're 33-33 when they don't.

Price just needs to pump strikes after strikes.
