Great to see the Brewers win this game.
I lived in Milwaukee from 1967 to 1971. We were two blocks from the old County Stadium. The Packers used to play a game there every year.
I became a Brewer fan when the Seattle Pilots moved there. I was a big Tommy Harper fan (hit 30-30 in his first year in MIL).
When Harper was traded to the Sox at about the same time we moved to Maine. I became a Sox fan.
I'd love to see MIL-BOS in the WS.

It would also be a good storyline if the Braves play the Brewers in the NLCS, you know, since they used to play there too.
If the Braves make it to the WS and play us, they should totally play a game at Nickerson Field, the BU soccer field that the Braves played on when they were in Boston
I’ve never minded the Braves. Nice to see them have a good year after sucking the last few years. That entire conference is a strange one. No cut clear team to go to the World Series. Anyone can take it. I still think the Dodgers win it and go back to the World Series but I hope the Braves can.
Heads up for the stat heads. ESPN 2 is showing a statcast of the Cubs vs Rockies game. For those that haven’t seen one before it really is pretty cool. Plus the announcers are better (no scumbag a rod).

Great Cubs and Rockies game 1-0 in the 7th. I didn't agree with taking Lester out after 6.
Why the hell would Maddon have Heyward hit there instead of Schwarber?
Thanks Slasher.
Thank god the Sunday night crew are not doing more games.
They are just awful.
Great, another year of that crap:
"ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball” viewership may have been down in Alex Rodriguez’s rookie season, but the plan is to stick with the crew of A-Rod, Matt Vasgersian and Jessica Mendoza for next year."

Cubs were the best team in the NL for most of the season, finished tied for the best record in the NL, then don't even make the actual playoffs. The new wild card is cruel, but very entertaining.
They could change the rules to say all 3 division winners advance, but the two wild card teams are seeded by record.
This year, it would not have been a need for division winning, one game deciders. The 2018 playoffs would have looked like this:
AL
BOS(1) vs CLE(5) @ OAK(4) play-in winner
NYY(3) @ HOU(2)
NL
CHI (1) vs ATL (5) @ COL (4) play-in winner
LAD(3) @ MIL(2)
