Cole will have no pressure at the start of the game. It is up to our offense to pressure him early and make him uncomfortable. Mookie needs to start playing like an MVP and not a below average replacement player. He is the spark plug that makes this team go. He needs to step it up. If he does, this will be a competitive series that will go 7 games. If not, tonight could be the last home game of 2018.

Holt's an enigma. He stays aggressive forover a mionth, then all of a sudden he's back looking for a walk. Mookie has the same disease. They are afraid if they swing at the first pitch and pop it up they will be guilty of helping the pitcher with his pitch count. I don't givea shit about pitch counts, just middle of the plate fastballs. Law of Averages will always work out.

Good pitchers are noteable for FIRST PITCH STRIKES. Make 'em pay.

    Same line-up tonight?

Or, do we see Devers at 3B?

Devers and Kinsler both. And Vazquez. Cora sends a message—we need to hit.

Price ERA by catcher in 2018:
    2.37 with leon (84 IP)
    4.68 with vaz (92 IP)

    Career
    2.83 w Leon (194 IP)
    4.32 w Vaz (263 IP)

That's a lot of offense needed from Vaz to overcome a 2 run differential.

Start Leon, and once Price is removed, PH for Leon.

Right. That’s why Price was so great in the ALDS—because Leon brings out the best in him. Actually, I would be fine with Leon catching tonight, but I also think Cora doesn’t make moves without a reason.

    Biggest surprise?

    JBJ not batting 9th.

    Lesser ones....

    Vaz catching Price
    Holt on the bench
Pearce up 5th over the lefty Devers

I'm sure others might see more.
