How? The players are the ones being locked out.

They are as unwilling to compromise as the owners are.

How so? What is the compromise that the players need to give? The players haven't been able to even negotiate since they were locked out very early on.

I'm sorry Kimmi, but I don't think you've been following this closely enough.

The stalled CBA negotiations are on both sides. The lockout is squarely on the shoulders of the owners…

Before the lockout, both sides made some concessions. Neither side has compromised enough. This pretty much pertains to all of the economic issues. It's kind of like when the Sox offered Mookie $300M and he countered with $420M. That's not a negotiation.

And they're not going to do anything until the season is in jeopardy. We've seen this movie before.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

Unfortunately, that is likely to be the case. Pride and ego are affecting both sides willingness to give in.

FTR, I feel that the owners have been less willing to compromise than the players, but I also feel that the owners have the right or are in the better position to be less willing to compromise. They are the owners, after all. Not good for baseball fans, but as I'm reminded repeatedly, baseball is a business.

The Automated Ball and Strike system is coming to a handful of Triple-A parks this season.
    C'mon, do something...

Well, back in 1994 they made a different version of the movie…

1994 was a slasher movie, and everyone got killed.

It was a sequel to the first slasher movie “1904”…

MLB announces experimental rule changes will be tested in the minors during the 2022 season:

    Pitch timer, all full-season affiliates.

    Larger bases, all full-season affiliates.

Defensive positioning limits (four players on the infield, two on each side of second) in AA/A

Automatic balls and strikes in Triple-A (Triple-A West from May 17th on, Triple A East at all games in Charlotte) and Low A (a challenge system in which pitcher, catcher, batter can appeal ump's ball or strike call to ABS. Three appeals each, keep the appeal if you're right.)
    C'mon, do something...

What is the reason for bigger bases? For the sight- impaired runners?
