I'll tell you what - sign me up for this mini HR derby to decide tied games - they need to put this in for regular season games next season. This is nothing soccer and hockey don't already do, and pitching arms are too valuable to be playing up to 20 innings in one game. Instant drama and excitement.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

The Cincinnati Reds have announced a multi-year partnership with BetMGM that includes a retail sportsbook at the stadium

Yet Pete Rose is still banned.

And David Bell will (and should be) banned as well if he partakes in the services this new partnership…

Commissioner Rob Manfred about automated ball-and strike system and its possibility for adoption in 2024: “We learned a lot about ABS in 2022, suggesting we’re not done learning about ABS.” Adds that a lot would depend on structure of proposal to players

I can't imagine robo-umps being worse than the clowns we have now, but if it needs fixing, do it quick!
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

Breaking: MLB’s Joint Competition Committee has voted unanimously to make the extra inning rule permanent for all regular season games moving forward. (2023 and beyond). A runner will be placed at second base at the start of every extra inning.

The competition committee also voted unanimously to allow position players to pitch only in extra innings, in the ninth inning when leading team is up by 10 or more runs or anytime when the trailing team is down by 8 or more.

Position players pitching jumped from 32 instances in 2017 to 132 last season.

This rule has grown on me. It adds a certain strategic element to extra innings that I like…

I'd like to see the AL's losingest team in extra-innings incorporate this novel idea into their strategies for 2023: move the runner!

Imagine Boston's record with 11 more wins last year -- hey, the Sox would've made the playoffs!

I don't think you can just play for 1 run with this rule, unless of course you're the home team and the visitors didn't score in their half.

    Worthy of a discussion though...
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
