The one thing the Yanks have been missing this year is someone new stepping up in the bullpen. It has seemingly happened every year (Holder last year, Green the year before, Warren before that) but everyone they've brought up this year has been a dud or below average at best (Tarpley, Harvey, Adams, Barrett, Cortes, the two random dudes who pitched last night). Cessa has been okay but is pretty undependable in a big spot. Maybe Loiasaga can be that guy once he gets off the IL.. but it would certainly help to have another dependable one-inning arm in the playoffs when Boone SHOULD have a quick hook for our starters.
German dominates, goes to 16-2. Should get 8 more starts the rest of the way. Win half and he’s got 20. He’s been nails of late
If we go 19-21 the rest of the way, we win 100. What a season
We also eliminated the Orioles from the division today. They’re the first team eliminated from their division. We still have a month and a half of baseball to play

I hope the Yankees play the Indians in the first round while the Astros get the Wild Card winner. If that happens, the Yankees will not advance to the ALCS.
75% of today's pitchers likely won't be on our playoff roster. But sure, we'll get crushed by Cleveland in the postseason based on today's game. I think Boston put up like 18 runs on us one game too, high point of their season

What the hell are these uniforms both teams are wearing? There's nothing fun about wearing all black/white
Big time beat down of the MLB ERA leader then we cannot score vs a rookie. Crazy, but still well played by us outside of small ball to tie it late.
