    4/14 vs Orioles

LHP John Means (1-1, 2.08) vs LHP David Price (0-1, 6.00)

Will Price turn the corner today? He's pitched okay in his first two starts, really not that bad, considering some of our other starting performances.

Bruins won last night, hopefully Celtics follow today. Great weekend to be in Boston, with another beautiful weather day expected. Nothing but good vibes as we finally welcome spring. Win. Dance. Repeat.

The goal for every team is make the Play-offs, you never make it in April, or lose it either, if your a good team. Too long of a season. Not a good team, doesn't matter what Month. Winning percentage only matters if it counts that your better then the team behind you, and make the Play-offs.
Other teams are going to have injuries, go in slumps, many different things.
5 games behind in April, and 5 games behind in Sept. too way different things, and vice versa.
5 games up in April, and 5 games up in Sept.

Price hasn’t been great but he has at least given us some innings. Hopefully he plays well today!

Price going today. ERod got talked into the best Start of the season for the Sox. However Price has been the most consistent of the Starters so far. Hasn't been better than mediocre but frankly that is saying something in this bunch. Carrying a sporty 6.00 ERA into this game. Still the best of our bunch.

After today, a virtual 10% of the season will be complete. The Sox have a chance to match the Orioles record with a win. If that had been written 3 weeks ago, everyone would have laughed til it hurt. Well, what happened ?

The only similarity between this year's SOX and last year's is the uniforms.

Why isn't Price pounding these RH hitters inside. If he wants to get Cutter happy he sort of needs to do that.

Jackie Bradley with 2 days off? Is there some minor injury or just let him think through his hitting ?

Messed up second inning scoring chance. It may have been unusual but when Bogaerts saw the fly and knew Martinez would at least draw the throw home, why wouldn't he have tagged and gone to second ? Then Nunez's routine DP ball may have scored a run.

"Long way to go" is a nice change from "it's early yet."
