    Well done, moonslav!

I count 7 righties tonight against lefty Means, who is 3-3 with an ERA of 2.81 and a mean changeup which he throws 33% of the time. Devers at DH and JBJ are the only two lefty bats. No Beni and no Moreland.

    First start for Josh Smith.

Weather down here (N. Virginia, 35 miles from Camden Yards as the crow flies) is 75 degrees and partly sunny. Ditto tomorrow. Mostly cloudy Wed and possible rain, but likely playable. Orioles so far are 8-11 at home, Sox 9-11 on the road.

Another big series coming up. Get back to 500. This will be a bullpen game.

Another garbage team . If you thought the ChiSox were bad , check out the Orioles . This is a big problem for MLB . Teams that stink and won't spend money to improve are hurting the sport . And there are too many of them . Sox need to sweep these stiffs .

Man felix hernandez just sucks. Gave up a two run shot to start the game. King Felix fell hard. Looked to be a future hall of famer but not anymore.

Have to keep winning. Soon the skankees will play the rays. They will beat up on each other.

He's a HOF in my book. He was one of most dominant pitchers in baseball for about a decade.Dude got screwed playing on some really bad teams with awful run support.

A sweep in Baltimore would go a long way to tightening up the East. Yankees and Rays need to split.

Doesn't take a 30 year MLB scout and talent evaluator to see that JDM, while still contributing daily and playing the field, is slumping at best or hitting with about 75% power if his back is tight

Man JD should not play OF. We don't have any other OF while Pedroia got an army to back him.

This guy has to give us something. The injuries to the pitching staff is a big concern right now.

That was a crappy start to the game with fan interference (whether they call it or not) and JDM landing on his butt on the track.

Any reason why they won’t start velasquez? They want him in the pen?
