    7/2 @ Toronto

David Price to stop the ruckus.

Sox have a new AAA arm Trevor Kelley on the roster. The merry go round is alive and well.

With 6 to go to the A-S break, against sub .400 teams, a 5-1 result would not be asking too much. If this bunch is going to make a move, now would be a good time to start. I think too many are taking the approach that a WC slot (#1 or #2) is still a given. If it is, we haven't seen it on the field . Time to show up, 2019 Red Sox.

Hopefully the merry-go-round has seat belts because we're going to need them. I do not expect much from this team until

    A) EO is back and pitching well
    B) We acquire another arm for the pen
The Bills, The Bruins, The Sabres & The Red Sox.

The Yankees are playing the pathetic Mets. If we don’t go 5-1, we could lose ground.

The Sox can forget about catching the Yankees, there is zero chance that happens.
A more realistic goal is securing the 2nd wild card spot

It's sickening to admit that the division is wrapped up in July but that's where I'm at too.
Don't really care though as long as this team turns it around and starts to finish games the right way.

Kelley will be pitcher #25 (counting Nunez)!

    WOW!

    That's an awfully big merry-go-round!
When you say it's gonna happen now

That is where I would have Beni in this particular order as well.

Who cares what order he’s in. If the pitching is like it has been we won’t win. The offense is fine. Benni is fine at 5th. Thornton has barely been average this year. If we lose to this team with this pitcher we have problems.

It is almost a shame we have to catch the Jays now. Further down stream the Jays will be in disarray, will sell off Ken Giles for something we can't possibly offer and a team with a shot will have a real Closer.
