7/17/19, Blue Jays @ Red Sox

Please God win this game. Pitch, hit, field, whatever it takes!

Sogard is a great lead off guy. His ABs remind me of Boggs.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

Not a good start for E-Rod with a walk.

Erod with the 3-2 count on everyone working for him. Probably good for 5 innings

JBJ is half-way to the HOF. Unfortunately, the other half is his offense.

Just checked. Sogard is 33. But the SOX need pitching, so Sogard won't help there.

Nah. For one thing, he’s 33. For another, he’s a career .247 hitter, and that includes this year’s .300+.

Erod is really pronating that Changeup tonight. Not sure he wants that much movement on that pitch. He just wants it to not act like everything else that comes out of the LHer's pitching hand. We will have to see how this goes if he keeps throwing it that way. I would like to see him continue to go deeper into games as he has lately and he might just earn too many balls out of the strike zone not offered at that way.

Scoring position. Xander the man. Also Mookie has really been on fire lately.

Sogard peaked late, while Beni peaked early.

Right now Devers is a line drive hitter who will hit his share of HR's. In that regard he is similar to Pujols.
