As the great philosopher once said "catch your dreams before they slip away." This is in regards to having one of the greatest players in MLB leave because the Sox ownership couldn't watch the hen house.

    That philosopher didn't envision a dream costing $420 million, I don't think.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

I'm pretty sure super famous and rich Mick Jagger could envision that.

Mick also said you can't always get what you want, so he really covered the whole deal.

Having a stud strut to the mound every five days -- a guy you know is going to overmatch opponents -- sets the tone of the season and gives a club confidence that can't be measured. He doesn't have to win 20 games or K 300 batters, but his influence can infuse simultaneous energy and ease on the defense and offense, not to mention take the pressure off the rotation and provide rest for the bullpen. The right horse can be a huge factor -- and that exactly what the Yankees are hoping from Cole this year.
These are some very valid points with which I agree.

Bloom appears to be looking for creative ways to get us some starting pitching that is a tier or two above the dumpster dive.

That said, there is still nothing wrong with adding as much depth as possible.

I'm wondering if Clay is just really against the idea of returning to Boston.

Please start "Realistic View, Part II." Loading the nearly 400 pages of this one takes valuable time away from my more serious pursuits--e.g., complaining about Clippers' rotations.

Will do, but who loads all the pages?
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?
