Cora looking for a confidence booster for Beni is my guess. IMO he never was a lead off hitter and isn't one now.

Vargas ...another of the wave of soft tossers trying to make a resurgence and balance out the preponderance of power pitchers in baseball now. Problem is most of the soft tossers CAN"T THROW IT EITHER!

Chris Owings has a -16 OPS+ and -1.2WAR, does that means he owes us money?

LMAO you fucking blow, Porcello. A non starter fastball with the amazing ability to spot it middle and above.

Todd Walker not bad in the booth. Did not listen to him the other night...choosing EEI audio instead. But he does not blather endlessly like Salty and so many of the other analyst stand-ins for Jerry. He is more like Angry Lou only as a TV analyst.

Speaking of stupidity an managers, Muscle Head Kapler may go unchallenged on the dumbness scale. The Phillies would be well advised to send him onto his future career as a personal trainer.

MOR is to batting what POR is to throwing.

Vasquez enjoying the juiced ball. If they change the ball back next season, he could go back to 5 HRs.

What a break out year for Vaz. Funny thing is that he started out sort of typical Vaz as in not even where he was at season end last year and then made a minor adjustment early in the season. From then on its like he was shot out of a cannon.
