Phillies' announcers scratching their heads about POR's removal. Hey, fellas, you don't watch enough SOX games.

WTF removed POR so that he would be a well-rested for free agency.

If they're scratching their heads about this decision, their heads must have been bleeding during last night's 7th inning.

I'd keep playing and then the decision to cut him won't be as hard.

My guess is that's what's going on with Gorkys, too.

So, we're actually trying to win, now?

Don't forget the World's Greatest Football Team of All Time, the Patriots also won, 43-0! They would stomp the Colts, like they always do.

When you look at the win today, we had 6 total hits, 2 by Beni and two big ones by Vaz, It shows how much we really need another hot bat like Mookie's in the lineup. In fact, it would be helpful to have Devers and Beni back hitting consistently so we could go at least 6 deep in the order with threats. Mookie, Devers, Bogaerts, JDN, Beni and Vaz. Or course it would be great to have depth throughout like the Yankees. We might do that with Holt, Chavis and if one of our youngsters shows something next season.

Who will be effective as starters next season? Sale, Price, E-Rod, Eovaldi, Houck, Mata, Chacin, others?

It will be fun to watch it develop.

Same reply as above, Moon, except insert Packers for Colts.

Packers defense looks really good. Offense still needs work. Same with colts.

Won’t argue that. Colts are figuring out who they are with JB at qb. However colts defense is playing some damn good football. And we are running the ball well. Not so sure it would be the blowout you think it would be but I have no shame in admitting the Pats would win. You should be more worried about Baltimore. Notice I didn’t say the Chiefs because they are all offense. Baltimore has a very good defense and the offense looks good with Jackson. They could be a threat.
