Anyway, If I were to recover that thing and put it down around 3rd base, it would cover about as much ground as Joe West covers out there.

PS If you are wondering about the tank's fate, my little sister poured a bucket of sand into its gears in a completely uncalled for act of vicious sibling rivalry and my poor tank ground to a halt, never to move again.
I could see that happening to Joe.

I was born before we were in the 2nd world war and know there is at least one guy here much older, bless his soul. By the way, Beni is down to 268 and in a free fall. Hard to know what is going on there.

Is this an episode of Life without Mookie or a preview of it?

I respect that my grandpa fought in world war 2. Made it through. Committed suicide in 1996. Think the war messed him up. Was never a fighter. Grabbed him out of a pool hall and had no choice.

Sorry for the deep sad stuff there. Beni is definitely struggling.

Maybe Beni is auditioning for a trade. Batting .137 in his last 15 games.

This is shaping up to be the most forgettable no hitter ever thrown.

Highlights tonight will be YAZ at the game and Joe West umping at 3rd.
I came to the game to see Yaz throw the ceremonial first pitch to his grandson, Mike. I can’t imagine how emotional it must have been for him, because it was very emotional for me. I will try to post my poor quality video later.

I did have some unexpected enjoyment tonight that I would put in the category of “you've got to be shitting me”. A woman and her college aged daughter are sitting next to me wearing orange Panda Hats. I asked them if they are Giants fans and they said yes and they confirmed that they are wearing Panda Hats. LOL! I had never seen one at Fenway when he was with the Red Sox.

All I can say is that John Henry owes us a public apology. The product on the field tonight is an embarrassment. No hits in five innings.

    Just wow....

Exactly. Its beyond me that there are actually paying fans at this game tonight. It would be so fitting if the last home game of the season got boycotted.
