Pretty stupid......they get Severino back but lose German for .....how long? At least seven days while they investigate...could be a lot longer.

Domingo German’s case is not fully resolved administratively, but he will not pitch in an MLB game again this year, regular season or postseason.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

Here is the link. German is done for the year. Its going to be a lot harder for the Yankees to win a ring without him. But, unfortunately, they have won all year without contributions from some pretty major players:

This is a big blow to the Yankees. It is messed up that so many players do this? Does this happen more today than it did 20 or 30 years ago or does it just seem that way?

I don't know if it was OK, but it was partially accepted by society.

And to be honest, I donít even think they punish people for the right reasons. Professional sports were dragged into morality clauses and suspensions for off field conduct due to the protestation of the female demographic. For year, nobody gave a shit about the ladies and their market presence. Now that half of our population isnít invisible, their POVs count. For years bad guys have been allowed to work by tacitly allowing their malfeasance. Iím a Yankee fan and while I believe German should be allowed to pitch again and in the pinstripes, I wholeheartedly support his suspension for the rest of the season.
