    NL Division Series Prediction Thread

Now it's time for the division series, let's start with the NL

Nationals at Dodgers ---- Dodgers in 4 games (there's a big difference between those two teams)

Cardinals at Braves ---- Cardinals in 5 (Braves are good but very young and the Card are in a roll)

The Nationals can be very dangerous in a short series, with Strasburg, Corbin and Scherzer lined up...

Nationals and Cards. More fun to predict upsets.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

    Dodgers and Braves

Hopefully the Braves take it all and go to the World Series.

Dodgers are 4-3 against the Nationals this year. But they are 1-3 in games started by Corbin, Schezer and Strasburg.

Braves are 4-2 against the Cardinals.

    I'm thinking Nats and Braves

I also go Nationals. Corbin, Strasburg and Scherzer is daunting. But so is Buehler, Kershaw and Ryu. I just think the Dodgers haven't faced as complete a team in the NL playoffs as the Nats are. And the Nats have been hot for 4 months now. I think the winner of this series is going to the world series. I go Nats in 4

In the other league, I don't really care who wins to be honest. I don't like to sleep on the Cardinals, because they always seem to represent well when they make the playoffs. The Braves have the offense and some pitching. The Cards have the pitching and some offense. Regardless, I think this matchup is just going to be fodder for whomever comes out of the LA-WAS series. I guess I'll go Cards in 5

Mark Melancon still doesn't like the bright lights.
