Did Farrell tell him to use PEDs or beat his wife?

No. He ruined his career, getting the PED using, wife beating scum out of the majors.

Both of those actions occurred outside of the 3 hours x 162 that wright was on the ballfield. I believe a man is responsible for his own actions in that case....

OK I have to stand up for one thing here.

There's no evidence that he hit her AFAIK. If anyone has facts to the contrary let's see them.

I would certainly hope that the case would not have been handled the way it was, with the charges being conditionally dismissed, if his wife had signs of being beaten up when the cops arrived.

There’s a reason he was released. It wasn’t because of some sort of moral superiority. It was due to Wright needing TJS which was confirmed today.

Always makes me wonder why he didn't have the surgery a year ago.

Had to be done. What a waste. He could have been a innings eater, but does clear a spot on the 40 man.

The 40 man roster will have plenty of space. Wright was and would not be taking a slot away from anyone special.

It was about his impending TJ surgery.

    No doubt.

But we also might have reached the point with Wright where the 40 man roster spot was more valuable than the player...
