No he didn’t die. He got hired by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in basically the same capacity he worked in Boston

I was never a fan of his ever. But the man does keep working...
So basically, instead of not knowing what he does for the Red Sox, we'll not know what he does for the Angels.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1
The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
Larussa is like a bad case of herpies!
Fortunately it is the angels GM (and not “hang em Chiam”) standing next to jeter at the pharmacy waiting to pick up the latest prescription of ointment and penicillin!
Well, we don't really know he brings nothing to the table, either. We know jack squat.

I really doubt the 75 year old LaRussa “needs” to keep working. He’s a lawyer with nearly half a century of experience in various MLB roles. There’s going to be food on the table for the rest of his life. I just think he wants to stay involved in MLB and has the name and prolonged history to make it happen. He must bring something to the table at this point.
But yeah, being Tony LaRussa definitely helps a lot...
