Thread: Travis traded

    Travis traded

To Texas for a bag of bag of balls named Jeffrey Springs who will take up a spot on the 40 man. The 27 year old appeared in 25 games and got tuned up to the tune of a 6.40 ERA.

Article I read said he is a fly ball pitcher with velocity under 90 for his fast ball. He does have option years though.

Whole topic with his breakdowns on another board says different .He sits at 92 with a nice slide change ....looked at his action he’s a big kid lefty ....kinda looks like Pom a bit on the mound his curve is a bouncer 12 to 6 doesn’t have a ton of command ...I like that he’s a lefty though and he looks like a guy with some talent .He is not some ace but he’s a good return for Travis at this stage .Bloom did well .Depth pitcher that maybe Bloom and company see something in .

This guy appears to serve tons of meatballs.

Kind of like Porcello only worse.

Travis and Swihart were DD binkies who hung on long after their potential was extinguished.

It still feels like a cheap LHH addition (maybe even a Moreland reunion) is coming at some point.
