    Working Remotely

Due to COVID 19 (aka Corona Virus), I will be working remotely for the next week and maybe more. My only experience working remotely was whenever there was a serious snowstorm and I wasn't able to get to work. It's far worse for my grocery stockpile when I'm here since I'll most likely end up snacking all day. My wife has worked remotely for most of the past decade so she'll be home and the kids are off from school for two weeks.

Any tips on not going crazy at home?

not sure of your housing situation but if you have a spare room that you can setup as an "office" i recommend it.

The spare room is my wife's office. The rest of the living space is "open concept" so I'm basically just sitting on the couch.

Tell your wife you’re taking over the home office and she needs to go get a real job.

Then you will be able to work remotely in peace from the privacy of your motel room and, eventually, your own apartment...

After Spring Break is over, I'll be studying remotely for what will probably turn out to be the rest of the semester. I guess taking breaks is the biggest thing I can stress, especially when the weather's nice

Not that I like the circumstances under which we're doing this, but I'm kind of digging the whole working remotely thing.

Plus #1 - Not having to get up at 5:00 am.

Plus #2 - Not having to get dressed in professional attire.

I'm not working remotely, I'm unfortunately just "off" work with nothing to do. Not being able to socialize, go to bars, play sports, watch sports or go to the gym has me bored out of my mind. I've basically been playing video games, watching movies and will likely beginning getting a part time job as an alcoholic.

So then how are you working remotely? I mean, my college professors are doing it, but I thought colleges were the only ones who could be fully functioning online

Part-time alcoholic ... I guess it's good work if you can get it.
