I would not make that argument, but I don't see the difference between that argument and the argument that TJS is essential.
    I see a difference.

And you would be okay with a tv personality having elective cosmetic surgery during this crisis?

What if there were thousands of these surgeries happening this week?

    That wasn't the point.

You may have a good argument.

I suppose one of the reasons I could defend Sale and Syndergaard is because their procedures were uncommon.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

Uncommon only because they received preferential treatment.

That said, I understand your point. I don't agree with it, but I understand where you're coming from.

Sale on whether he regrets not having surgery last year: ‘I sleep easier knowing we did everything we could. ... We could have done this 6 months ago... (But) I wouldn’t have been 100 percent go’ on the surgery. Said he wanted to ‘turn over every stone’ before surgery. ‘

‘It didnt work out, but at the end of he day...everyone did everything we could to make this work (without surgery)...I’m more than OK with that.’

Sale says he’s ‘going to have a better elbow than he did before’ after 9-14 month rehab process.

Chris Sale says he gets a cast off Thursday and will start moving his arm post surgery then. He'll likely start most of his rehab from home with initial exercises and range of motion.

Sale says limits on elective surgery led to significant delay. Cedar-Sinai wanted to make sure surgery would have ‘zero impact’ on anyone else, esp COVID-19 patients. Sale says he got tested for the virus when he got to California.

Chris Sale had a serious illness in spring training. He tested negative for the flu. Now, with the benefit of hindsight, he is wondering if he might have had coronavirus.

I was wondering the same thing.
