Test Post or Perfecting the .... "I'm Leaving This Site for Good or a While:, post.

Just want to ready my post for when I claim I am leaving this site for a while or for good. If you want to practice your post that is fine. We should feel open to criticism and strive for perfection.

I haven't really thought about it all that much, but just brain storming mine is going to be something like this......

"And I've had enough. Social media just isn't goood.......... blah blah blah blah blah (not sure exactly what I'd write here. But here's the ending.

And I'm going to find every last one of you and burn down your house."

    Thoughts?
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
    In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
    In our yellow submarine

Don’t ask me. I made one and came back two weeks later. I am worse at retiring than Sugar Ray Leonard...

You got fed up and wanted to leave this site once? Dude, you are steady and nothing rattles you. What made you think that? This blows my mind.

I believe The Who are the champs of the faux retirement thing.

They had a 'farewell concert' in Toronto in 1982.

They (Pete and Roger that is) put out a new album in 2020.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

Also The Eagles were bad at retiring.

But Sugar Ray hung up his gloves about 5 or 6 times and just kept coming back...

Fighters are in a special category though. Paul Simon even wrote a song about that.

Can we not forget about Michael Jordan or Brett Favre?

Ozzie Ozborn seems to retire all the time.

I went to see him about 5 years ago for which was supposed to be his last album and tour. But he recently put out another album and I think was touring up until recently.

The show was so bad, he literally couldn't sing very well anymore and they autotuned the heck out of him. We left early.

    Hi everyone,

This is Andy's wife. He has to go away for now due to mental health reasons and/or is dead.

    Thanks!

That’d be unfair to your fans. They would need closure.

    My fellow Talksoxers,

In light of recent events, such as the MLB shutting down the Red Sox organization after 20 straight losing seasons, it's time I take my talents elsewhere. It's been a nice run, but I feel it would best suit my needs if I fully immerse myself in the culture of {INSERT HOMETOWN} and start rooting for the {INSERT HOMETOWN'S CLOSEST MLB TEAM}. It's nothing personal, just business. mvp78 can go to hell, but I wish the rest of you the best.

    P.S. I still haven't forgotten about seabeachfred

    Yours Truly,

    Next time I’ll say:

“Notin is dead. I killed him myself. He was of no use to us.”
